Default oem is300 steering wheel quick release in SC400???

So I got a 92 SC400 thinking about going quick release but I dont really like any of the aftermarket steering wheels out there and was wondering if it could work using a oem steering wheel?? I know I would lose air bag and cruise control stuff like that but could it work? Just a idea OR

you'd have to drill holes in the base of the steering wheel to adapt it to a 6 bolt hub, the steering wheel is pretty heavy too and would stick out really far, i think it look pretty weird also since it's pretty thick.

Wouldn't a nice alarm be easier (if security is your aim)?

Yeah I was thinking about that too. I just really don't like the look of aftermaket steering wheels

I wasn't aiming for security it was just a idea because I like the look of a is300 wheel and it being able to be removed something different

I have an IS wheel as well. I think they look awesome.
Is there another reason you would want to remove it?
