definitely not hating, man. i approach car modifications like hot-rodders do. you use whatever you want to get whatever you want done.

That looks really nice man! cant wait to see the high-beams done.

Quick question, what colour does your low-beams actually turn out to be?

When the lights are on the light comes out white. Projector cutoff shield is what's painted red, it has a very minimal effect on the light output. It's only visible as red if you're looking at the projector lens itself and only from certain angles. When the lights are on if you look at the projector lens you'll have a hard time seeing the red unless you're really close and looking from above.

This is a shot of what color light my headlights project, the red really isn't visible. I'm still dialing in my cutoff though, so the light will be going in the oven again in a few days so I can better adjust them, as they are angled a little too low right now. I did my first adjustment before I realized how to properly seat the headlight housing on the car, and once I did that they both ended up pointing a bit further down than I'd have liked.

Once I do figure this out, I may make another set for a DIY with lots of pictures, it'll probably also be over the summer when I do the high beams.

Lubbock, it's in NW Texas, hopefully I'm only here for another 2 months, but that might turn into another year.

Thanks, that was the previous owners choice, and it does flow rather well, so I've stuck with it. Although this will be the third Vertex lip I've gone through on this car. These streets don't seem to like anything this low. When I switched to the BC racing coils I lifted it up 1/4 inch, which has helped me not scrape getting into my driveways when I take it at an extreme angle, but I'm sure this lip will probably only make it to next April until something else stupid happens.
