What is the DINAN of aftermarket parts for SC300?
Hey guys-
I am new to lexus ownership with my recently purchased 93 sc300 manual with 86k miles on it. I am curious what you guys consider to be the most respected aftermarket companies for exhaust, suspension etc for our Sc's? I have always been a bmw owner and liked dinan because it actually kept the value of the car and was highly respected.

TRD would be the DINAN for toyotas however Dinan is a bad example because in terms of performance they suck.. I'm a BMW N54 specialist.
Honestly the same reputable aftermarket companys that make parts for BMWs make parts for these cars just search and you'll find what your looking for I don't have any good examples for exhaust because my system is custom and I'm debating on what coilovers I want but am leaning tawrds tein as my shop is a tein dealer.
Again any reputable company is going to have parts for these cars and you'll get people who love some and hate others and visa versa

TRD, Daizen, Kaaz, OS Giken, Cusco, Hypercoil, Bilstein, Marlin Crawler, Driftmotion, Figs Engineering, Koyo, Southbend... and the Supra MKIV OEM parts bin.
With this car there are all those names and more catering to specific niches of parts on the SC chassis. With many of them you need to substitute the Supra MKIV for your SC as it has tremendous aftermarket support and a lot of its parts (but not ALL of its parts) are a bolt-in affair. It gets very specific. Better OEM Supra MKIV engine mounts can be used, for example, but you will want 1997-98 specification unless you order new brackets from Toyota as well.
Depends on what component you wish to upgrade to. But if you are looking for a one-stop tuning firm that offers parts... that doesn't really exist. But top-tier tuning firms that can transform an SC (or Supra) do exist.
It's just that many of us do it ourselves and refer to forum DIYs for the most proven upgrade paths and parts.
