Duck....I'm not concerned with resale value because honestly cars are not an investment and you never get the money you put into then anyhow. I do like to fix up my cars to my personal taste and am perfectly fine knowing what I get myself into and the money involved!
As far as the insurance companies, well they can very difficult to deal with but luckiky I was able to get $6500 for my Honda so I don't feel bad but did have to struggle with them back and forth...wasn't until I got a lawyer for my accident that they changed their tune.
As far as the cars in the stable currently... I sold the BMW last year and got rid of the IS quite a few years back...currently in our stable is a 2014 Equus, Black 2007 Santa Fe, parked behind the Equus in 2nd pic, a 2002 Prius (My New DAILY DRIVER) which I picked up for 3k with the insurance money from my Honda, and the 92 SC!
I've always loved the SC and when I saw this one with only 69k original miles and one owner, and all service done I had to have it! I've seen so many SC's out there but they are mostly in such poor condition which is sad because these cars are absolutely gorgeous! I plan on keeping this SC for many many years!

Wife and I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!! Why do you think I sold the BMW? Had both cars in our garage for a couple of months and was able to compare differences...This Equus is so much better than the BMW...it's so sleek, powerful, smooth, and so many luxory features! Def an amazing car!

Had a little issue that has been resolved...for some reason the car had two different shades in certain spots under certain lighting conditions so solution was to re-sand, re-paint, & re-clear the whole car! Painter was not happy about it but oh well..not my problem!
Anyhow, issues resolved and its looks amazing!
In the process of beign color sanded again now!

Is there a slight magenta in the paint? in one of the earlier pics I thought I saw some in one of the trunk shots? and im kinda seeing it on the roof in these. I dig it. My monitor in my office sucks so if im wrong don't shoot me for sayin. Its prob the sky reflecting off the car.

The spoiler is off a 95 SC that I picked up from a local junkyard.
Car is pretty much done now and will get washed good and a good detail including glaze and a good polish!
Here are pics before final debut!
