My 1995 cluster has 180k on it. I installed some aftermarket needles about a year ago and all was fine until today. Every 6 seconds, all the needles dim OFF then, 6 seconds later, come back on. I disconnected the rheostat and it made no difference in the cycling. The rheostat will keep them lit up if I turn it up all the way. i don't think the needles are faulty since the dimming is even in each needle. Any ideas?
