"What local Lexus scene? Lol there is none that I'm aware of, but even so I want to get back out and do more car stuff again."
Ouch!, truth hurts! Local scene has no organization beyond the RMMOC organized gathering in June (great fun, and plenty of Lexus reps, FIGS engineering and a few other vendor/shops). Would like to have forwarded the 2015 Drift event schedule, but it appears that the organizers (DriftColorado) are standing down this year. Drifting had been a great place to discover other CL members and shops like MoFab. Hopefully there will be some stand-alone events. Kuni even has an 'SC' specialist. I think when I last saw you I had GS 300 and SC 300 Auto. No change to the GS, but the SC 300 is now W58 Converted, and I have added a SC 400 ('95 and RJP, twin to the 300) as daily driver (30K miles, totaled once, and repaired already in its first 2.5 years...).
I've never tracked the Lexus', but used to run my 914 2.0 at Second Creek during 'Open Practice', allowed a lot of track time, without worry of car to car incidents. Times? - only if you've brought your own stopwatch artist . Hope to do that more/again when the 914 is freed, now at High Plains.
The few, the hearty, Colorado Club Lexus members... Stay the course!

^^^Lol I promise this year I will actually get 1 meet done in the summer for the CL members. Then we can plan from there some more meets. last 2 years I really wanted to but had so much stuff come up *cough* old house *cough*. Also, I'm not sure if I want to track/destroy my SC at this stage I just like to build it, enjoy it, and look at it =) so a meet sounds good to me.

Ali, I didn't even notice that you're here in CO. Whereabouts?
Brent, true statement. Scenes don't come out of nowhere, so I guess if we want one we'll have to make it ourselves.
In that vein, maybe something as simple as beers after work some Friday afternoon soon would be fun. I live in Elbert County but work in the Tech Center. Trying to get good front tires and an alignment under my car with a temp tag so I can at least see if it'll pass emissions (I don't have them, but any interested buyer would) so I'm hoping to be driving it a little bit soon. Maybe inside of a few weeks we can do something?

I would be down for a small meet after work to get some ideas together for the summer, or at the very least we can plan for the toyota meet and maybe get a group together for the pikes peak climb we could pick a spot and have a open picnic type where everyone brings something.
I am more in Denver but DTC is just a small drive for me if that works we can do that I do not mind at all.
This weekend is looking pretty bad for me except for maybe sunday, but I think next weekend the 27th after work or 28th in the afternoon we should try and get something going even if its just food/drinks.
