Project: "Preparedness"

Project: "Preparedness"
Hit up Lowe's for a few small parts, and put together a simple door-mounted First-Aid Kit, next to my Fire-Extinguisher. I also have a larger kit, with an identical extinguisher in the truck; however mounting those is another project for when I re-do the entire trunk in leather, to match the interior ...
The nice thing about Lowe's is that you can return spray-paint, so long as you only used a small amount. This was a VERY small amount.
Total time: 20min. (including paint-dry)
Total cost: $4.22 (after refund)
Materials: Matching Paint, Metal Plate, Small (Self-Tapping) Screws
Gonna get a few more items later on; tweezers, a razor, gauze-wrap, etc. As long as it all fits neatly.
Bracket painted to match, and mounted
It's like a back-pack
Door opens/closes; kit stays securely in place ...
Visible at night ...
Accessible without interference ...

Thanks guys! Glad ya's like it. It's simple but effective
Kahn - I have a second extinguisher in the trunk (identical to this one).
It's perfectly fine; I just haven't done a write up, 'cus I haven't re-upholstered the trunk yet.
So for now it's just tucked away neatly where the radio amps used to be (there's a hole to ur right).
Once it's time to take on that project, I'll actually mount it, and make a place for the primary kit also. It's gonna look nice, and well-organized; however it's just money in the mean time. I gotta purchase tan leather still, etc. I'll definitely post it up though, upon completion.
To answer ur question - Trunk temperatures fine. You shouldn't have any issues with an extinguisher located therein. I've had it for over a year now; it's all good.
