Hi! I'm Pete. I've got a black '97 SC300 5-speed, no customization thus far. It's been a great car, although not all that awesome in the snow, even with blizzaks on it.

I was an ae86 builder and still am building my 76 corolla wagon while doing the sc300.

Hi All,
I've been looking for an SC300 for quite some time, probably 2005-2006 when I followed SW and Cody back to Austin from Houston during TX2K, and ended up finally purchasing one last week. It's a 1994 one owner Florida car with only 68K miles on it. All maintenance done at Performance Lexus in Naples up to August 2014 so the previous owner took great care of the car. I have a 1000whp Supra as well and plan to build this car similar to what my Supra was back in 2006 (700whp and bottom 10s in the 1/4 miles through a built Supra TT Auto trans). I really like driving it although the weather has been bad here lately. Lots of good information here so thanks to those that took the time out to post it all. I'll put it to good use.

Young SC300 Owner!
Hey guys, my name Is Joseph im a junior in highschool and I just purchased my first car about a month ago (1997 sc300). I'm super excited about owning this car and plan on doing many things to it! I'm currently in school so I only work on weekends ( I work at a auto detailing shop) which means I don't make that much money so it's probably gonna take me a while to do what I want with the car but I'm super excited to get started. Anyways I'm looking forward to looking around on the forums and getting ideas from everyone, anyways here's some pictures of the beauty

Gorgeous car, Joseph. If the interior is as good of shape as the exterior you have a great first vehicle. Welcome!!!

Hey all,
New member here! Got me a shiny 1992 SC 300 not long ago, 1 owner car with 127k miles on it, the guy had a book with literally every gas fill up and all maintenance receipts. Front bumper has a fair amount of rock chips though. Overall though the car is mechanically amazing and I love that 22 years later the car still looks sexy! I'll post pics after its washed and what not. Lots of ideas for this car!

New guy here!
Hey guys I bought my 1999 SC 300 with 153000 miles on it about 60 days ago and it is in almost perfect shape. It was in a rear end crunch but was fixed and looks almost new! It is loaded with all the options and is mechanically almost perfect. It was well maintaind by its previous owner. It's my daily driver and I love it. I will leave it stock. This is one sweet ride!
I also just bought a 1992 SC400 with lots of miles and was not well taken care of that I am working on to race in the 24 hrs of LeMons in Kershaw South Carolina this year. I am in the middle of putting a timing belt water pump and front seal and cam seals on it. It has 18" Z wheels but other than that it is stock. When I get the motor running I will do an AC cancel along with ABS cancel and take all the interior out install a roll cage and racing seat quick release stearing wheel and other goodies required by LeMons. If.there is anybody out there that wants to chime in on what I'm doing and give me any pointers I will be glad to get them. And if you are interested in getting together at the LeMons race this year let me know. There is also a Chumps race in Dalton Georgia outside of Atlanta this year. If the car holds up and I can find enough guys to participate I will try and race twice this year.
I am looking forward to participating here on the forums.
Thanks

New to CL 5 speed 92 SC300
hey everybody my name is nate. i bought my 1992 SC300 about a year ago, third owner of a factory 5 speed manual with 137,xxx miles i have all sevice records from both previous owners and both had the car regularly maintained. i absolutely love the car, despite having some problems. i'm from VA, i've always used CL as a reference when diagnosing my past issues. i just got my car out of the shop for the third time, unfortunately i've spent about a grand and i've drove the car for about three weeks, yes after owning the car for about a year. the car is now back home and running, anyway, the car is my dream car so i'll be sticking with it, looking to restore and maybe modify.
