Tough enough to find a complete 6 speed V160 diff for which they go above $1500. It will be tougher to find the pumpkin only. That is the only pumpkin you can use that LSD as far as I know. People take them out to install an aftermarket LSD like TRD. I hope you didn't pay much for that.

As I mentioned in my previous post, tough to find and will always be above $1500 for used ones.

You will find those 6 spd LSD for around $100-150 on SF because they kinda are useless just because finding the 6 speed pumpkin is next to impossible. I might be exaggerating but truly I have never seen a 6 speed pumpkin only, for sale in the past 5 years I have been watching them. Those LSDs are taken out so people can install after market LSDs
I guess I have too much time looking for deals . Every now and then you find them, just have to be patient. Two years ago I bought a brand new , never used or never filled with oil, 6 speed V160 differential for $1800 shipped on SF from lasvegasse I believe. So good deals pop out every now and then I would say.... stay vigilant cause they don't last long.

Arent you the guy who just bought and SC and hated it???
DO MORE RESEARCH into the proper parts for your car. You cant just slap anything on and think it'll work. This forum is ripe with info about LSD's.
Theres a "Search" button on the blue strip at the top of the forum with a little down arrow, between "new posts" and "quick links". Click the arrow, click on "advanced search", select "sc300/400" in the search options and start searching keywords for literally all the infor\ you can handle about everthing to make your car better than most new cars on the road.

There is also a difference between the JDM 6speed differentials that has a 200 ring gear and the USDM 6speed differentials that has a 220 ring gear. The JDM has a 3.26 gear ratio and the USDM which is much coveted, hard to find and for which they want an arm and a leg has a 3.13 gear ratio.
Those LSDs floating around that had been taken out from USDM diffs cannot be installed on JDM pumpkins. Since USDM pumpkins are hard to find , reason I said , it is kinda useless buying a USDM 6 speed LSD (internals only) . They have been taken out for a reason... replaced with an aftermarket one.

I looked for the better part of a year to find a Supra TT Auto Torsen pumpkin. When they are listed on SF they will go FAST. You have to hunt the forums twice a day in hopes of scoring such a deal and that's assuming anyone is selling at the time you're looking. Prices are usually about a $1,000 ballpark so long as it is visually verified there is a Torsen in there.
The 6-speed LSD won't fit into anything other than a 220mm USDM/UK TT casing. MKIV owners tend not to like them above 500whp and that's usually why they get swapped out.
An alternative would be a $1,000 TRD 2-way LSD which is supposed to be very good even on the street. You have to get a driveline shop to install it and re-shim the differential.
