Small issue i think related to door trigger issue

Yesterday I noticed the moment I opened my door, my key chime was going off. I tried manually locking the door inside the car and the car would flip the lock back open. However using the power lock button locks the door and kills the chime. And if I manually unlock the door after doing this the chime is gone as well and I can set my alarm. Not like the issue most have but has anyone seen this before?

Sounds like a bad ignition cylinder. It thinks your key is still in.
Try inserting and removing your key many times while wiggling the steering wheel and shift lever.

I dropped a smidge of PB Blaster in the lock cylinder. Appears to be working fine now. Also haven't driven the car since this posting.... Also I'm a manual so wiggling the shifter is out.
