Default Chassis Harness Differences 95-97

Hey gents, I searched for a bit and couldn't find the particular information I was looking for. If you don't mind, I would appreciate your input.

I have 1995 SC300 5 Speed. Everything works, stereo sounds awesome. The front was involved in an accident so I sourced a 1997 SC300.

The 1997 had some monkey stereo wiring from a previous system and alarm. I don't know what's been cut and spliced or whatever as far as the stereo goes.

The 1995 has a black interior which I will be swapping into the 1997. Will the harness the stereo is connected to be plug and play? I'm not sure if it's attached to the dash somehow or if it stays in the car when you pull the dash. I know I will need to keep the OBD II stuff intact from this dash and transfer it to the new dash.

Any input is greatly appreciated. I've seen many threads about interior swaps but nothing about transfering the OBD stuff and about my particular stereo question.

Thank you

Picture for your troubles

Just in case anyone searches this for their own reasons - the only thing I've found that was different was the connectors on the seat belt retractors. Going to make a small patch harness and that should be the end of it.
