Thanks guys! We will definitely keep everyone updated.
As for weight saving all the pieces including the drains, glass, nuts and bolts, etc was just over 37lbs. The carbon part was 2.13lbs. A saving of 35lbs high up in the car.
And yes we still have the mold. We have a honeycomb weave carbon that I'd like to try as I think it'd look amazing.

if not how much does just the glass weigh?
IF so, how did you fix it in place?
I'm looking to do the same thing cause i never use my sunroof.

Thanks for the compliment ems. I lucked out and met a retired sheet metal worker that was also a custom car body man. Plus I talked him into taking the job on and at a good price. $550
