About to be another owner of a 93 SC 400. Any pointers??
Hey gals and girls!
Im about to purchase a 1993 SC 400. 1 owner vehicle, bought locally in 93, garage kept, never left the state. Completely stock. Previous owner was an older lady. Has all maintenance records along with original window sticker. ($44,600 in 1993)
All i plan on doing to it : Wheels, coil overs, tint, and exhaust. Anyone have any suggestions on any of these items? Definitely need to get those wheels flush with the fenders!

Any pointers on what i could do performance wise to get a little more power out of this 1UZ? Ive heard its not the easiest motor to get power out of. And i know the PO just had the 100k maintenance done on it. Other than some very minor gasket seal leaks, the car is solid.

DO IT!
If you have big money, build out the motor, get headers, supercharge or boost it but the 5 speed may totally satisfy you!

hahaha she is already mine
I stumbled upon this car unintentionally actually. I was looking at a 99 SC300 with 110k on it but it had a rebuilt/salvage title and the guy wanted 8k for it. Couldnt supply me with any kind of maintenance records as to where the work was done at or anything along those lines. My guess is some mom and pop shop around the corner from the dealership.
Anyways...this 400 was located bout 25 miles away from where i found the 300. 6yrs older than the 300 but it also has 8k less miles, CLEAN title, 1 owner, bought locally and has never left the state. Hell, the spare tire has never even been removed from the car. Tools are still in original packaging AND the 12 disc CD changer still works flawlessly. I got VERY lucky to stumble upon such a well kept 22yr old 400.

Mu suggestion would be to HURRY and consummate the transaction. You better hurry up and purchase it before Studiogack gets a hold of it and believe you me, he will figure out how yours slipped from his radar. One more thing, any suggestions on how I can score a Sc400 off old granny?!
I missed one??
How did this happen?

Yessir. I'll snap and upload some pics of the bone stock 93 SC and get them on here by the end of the week. I have another vehicle i take to and from work. Trying to keep the mileage down on the SC for now. And I only have internet access at work(the times that i am on here posting)
