Beautiful find! I think the steering wheel on these cars switched to a slightly smaller three-spoke more suits the feel but the originality of the car can't be argued with. Congratulations!
thanks for all the compliments on her. It is now time to get my 2000 sc ready for sell. Beautiful car as well. what do you guys think I should do to this 1997?

Very clean! What are your ultimate plans?? The first thing I did besides the obvious maintenance was replacing almost every bulb with and LED or HID, it'll really update the car, especially in white.

I wouldn't mess with it too much. Do small things to it, but keep it tasteful and modern; HID's, steering wheel, LSD, and definitely maintenance to get it as close to perfect as you can. As people have mentioned before.
I modded my 1 of 905 '99 sc400 with things that can all be undone. So no fender rolling, nothing welded on.

i agree i have never been a fan of slamming a car or rolling fenders. The mods i would most likely do would all be bolt on and tasteful. Wheels, steering wheel, hids, tint, etc.

Sounds like me, the 'less is more' approach, or as the Euro guys call it 'OEM+'
I'd change that wheel in favor of the woodgrain 3-spoke one, a nice 35% tint [not too dark], all the lighting, maybe get some bigger exhaust tips and paint the canisters black so the tips stand out more.
Even the mirrors with the LED's to update the exterior a little bit;
Exterior wise, there is many, many nice Lexus OEM wheels that look great.
17 inch wheels;
MY seller was asking 5500 for a 1995 near mint with 126,xxx and got him down to 4800 about a month ago. You and I are both on our honeymoon with new Scs. I am not jealous of the 5 spd cause I prefer to do nothing but gaze ahead of me when I drive, it's therapeutic but if one came my way, let's just say I would learn to row REAL QUICK. any recommendations on how we can find one for ourselves?
Not exactly the same realm of car, but good on ya anyways.
