Angry just picked up my 1997 original 5 speed sc300

I have purchased my second sc 300 in under two months. This time I got it right! I have been looking for this car for some years now. I found this 1997 sc 300 this weekend locally in Atlanta. I spoke on the phone with owner of 15 years. He was a retired business man, and it was garage kept. I will be posting plenty of pictures I am sure in the future of this vehicle. This is my 3rd sc and what treat it is to not only find a 5 speed one but find an original in this condition.

Now that you've shown us the 17 year old showroom floor pics, let's see what it looks like today!

Seriously, that's simply stunning.

I'm a fan of the newer 3-spoke steering wheels, but yours is so mint, I'd have a hard time taking it out. On the other hand, you can probably sell it for enough to cover a good part of the upgrade, considering how clean it is.

If I remember right, the option doesn't show up in your control panel until you hit 30 posts. So, get busy posting more pics of the car!

Your '00 steering wheel will fit but most likely require an adapter for the airbag, as they changed the shape of the connector in '98 or '99. I haven't bothered adding an adapter yet, since my airbag light was on already with the harmless-but-difficult-to-defeat Code 22...

Search up the RX300 wheel. I have one in mine and it upgrades the interior nicely. It also fits the car perfectly and doesn't look out of place. I think SC's shoulda came with them in the first place.
I also have an extra one for sale if that's the route you decide to go.
