Thinking of buying Sc 5 speed sold with' 20's. How embarrassed will I be till I change them? ;-)
I can't find the thread with all the pictures of Sc's on 20's. My search criteria has turned up nothing.
Anyone remember the 20's thread title?
I know they are pretty darn big without a body kit....
I planned never to go above 19's but I can't drive the car home without the wheels.
I need to see some pictures...

Lol you got SC fever! This is my old car on 20" Benz Replicas, I got so many compliments with this set up, and that's how I bought it. I don't think 20's are necessary bad on our car, just need right fitment to pull it off.








I kinda regret selling that car because now I'm looking for a project SC......

That actually looks just fine to me. I like 18-19 better but it looks fine. Nice ride!
I'll probably put my Shine kit on it until I get new wheels. the car is black and the kit is black already. The kit will make the 20's fit better.

These aren't 20's, they are RX-8 18's. IMAO, I prefer the 18's over bigger.

Just throwing in my 0.02 on this one. 20's are fine IMO on a 97+ SC or an SC with a body kit. Heck almost all the heavy hitters here in Florida are all on 20s. Pic of my SC for reference:

As already stated on the 97+ or a kitted sc 20's are fine. It more or less has to do with the design as well. Some look ungodly huge and some have a nice lip and end up appearing smaller.

To answer your question no, cant find the 20" thread either.

My friends and I argue this all the time.. I talk about getting larger wheels and they say they would dis own me as a car enthusiast lol.. I think they can be pulled of very well with the 97+ or kit..

20's are to big....18's or 19's are perfect for the SC....I dont like rubber band tires
