What a great find!!!! You are truly fortunate to find this car with so low of miles and the interior in such great shape.
For me, I took our original-in-the-family '92 and started over with a long list of mods and repairs. You won't have many reasons to do that...
Just me, but the pin striping on the sides is not a feature I liked on our cars so if removing that does not compromise the paint that is something to consider. BTW, the tint on the front side windows is illegal in Cali so beware.
Being a '97, you already have the more desirable front bumper so adding the lip is a good call. As for lowering the car, unless you are going to go with larger rims and wider tires (which seems to be a "no" since you invested in new rubber and struts/springs) that will be a "do over"; after you get a lot of ideas from this forum you can decide.
The best "inside" upgrade (to me) is replace the stock audio system with a modern double DIN system with Bluetooth support, GPS, and splurge with a unit that can support a backup camera. Really makes the car feel "special" to have that going on.....
Great car.... Keep pictures and updates coming.....
