Stock Springs 92-96 vs 97-00
I searched, but haven't came up with a concrete answer. Can anyone confirm that the stock springs for 97+ cars sit a bit lower and have a more even wheel gap front to back? My 93 sits much higher in the front than the back and I'm trying to find out if swapping some 97+ factory springs would even this out. I want to maintain the ride comfort, so I'm not looking to get lowering springs or coilovers. Thanks!

I have owned both a 92 SC and now my 00 and I can tell you for certain that there is NO difference between the two stock spring setups. The front will always appear to have more wheel gap because the front wheel well is cut higher up on the body than the rear. If you only look at the ground clearance, you'll notice it's even all around. Even after installing lowering springs on both my 92 and the 00, there is still more gap up front so as to provide enough clearance when the springs are compressed and the wheel is turned.
