Amazing deal on iForged wheels. Too good to be true?
Need the wheel experts help here, particularly those familiar with iForged wheels.
Have the opportunity to jump on some iForged Essen wheels for dirt cheap. They're so cheap I'm wondering if they're even real or if they're reps. They're easily $2k+ wheels, and the guy selling them is offering them to me for well below $1k.
Front Rims: 18x7.5 Tire: 225/40/18
Rear Rims: 18x8.5 Tire: 245/40/18
70% tread wear.
Offsets are: +40 on the fronts and +35 on the rear.
Few questions for you guys.
1) Does anyone know if iForged even made these wheels in 18"? I've looked all over the net, bimmer forums, etc, and can only find iForged Essen's in 19"+.
2) I'm obviously going to drive out and look at them before I buy them. What identifying marks do iForged wheels have? Stickers? Stamps? What should I look for to tell if they're reps or not?
Here are some pics the seller sent me. He say's there's no room for them in his shop hence the cheap price. Thanks in advance for anyones input!

just looked them up
You can tell the difference around where the screws are on the lips. Real essens are flat on the face around the screw area. While the ones you posted are not.
Pretty messed up the dude is selling them falsely

If I were you, I would get them and rebarrel them to a step lip 19". Your Volks are 18s right? You can swap the tires over and the wheels basically pay for themselves already. Not a fan of iforged wheels but I think they would look pretty good in a step lip. (Can you tell I'm a fan of step lip? )

I'm not a fan of iForged either (not my style), but if they're real then I'd be stupid to pass this deal up.

I did some research and found that the backs of the wheels are supposed to have stamps on them proving the authenticity of the wheels. I emailed the seller last night asking to see pics of the stamps, and havent had a reply yet (whereas I'd always get an immediate response before).
Looks like this is going to be an easy decision for me.
