Yes or no? I'm sure some are not answering because of my low post count...

But if you see my join date, I do more reading than posting on here. Lol

In my opinion you are essentially just buying the shell. if the motor has been taken care of it will last for a while but either way you will need to replace the usual stuff. timing belt, utility belt, if starter hasnt been changed it will crap out on you too. if you can do all these yourself then youll save alot of money. Hood will cost you a few hundred dollars unless you get something out of a junk yard. not sure about the window.

all in all, if you are mechanically savvy and dont mind putting some time into the car id say go for it. Just make sure there arent any electrical or mechanical problems

You can't go wrong at that price. Even if you decide it's too much work to get running and looking good, the salvage (or parting out) value will pretty much break even.

Thanks guys. I was thinking it would be worth it.
I'm mechanically inclined, I was a Toyota tech for about 7 years, Did the master tech type work but didn't have the certification to prove it. But I comfortable doing everything.

Forgot to mention, I'll be able to get the car for $300.

For 300 bucks I'd buy it, sem the interior, plastidip the exterior and flip it. Lol. Don't sound like a loser to me, motor alone worth more. Part out for much more if it's a pain to fix up.

$300
It really doesn't matter at that price.
You can probably sell the tail-lights, headlights, and a few interior pieces and come up positive if you can't make it run, not to mention any other parts in good condition.

i gotta agree with the other members, you could easily part it out for what you paid for it if you have a change of heart, but who knows, you may fall in love with it and build it to the 9's. its hard to not get addicted to these cars.

Also found another sc300, no motor or trans but everything else is there, the car is straight, except the left rear fender. This car is also cheap.... Free!
