Newbie in sc400: antenna sail mast?

Default Newbie in sc400: antenna sail mast?
What's up guys, new to club lexus and just picked up a 2000 ren red sc400 in immaculate shape. Bought it off a retired guy in Greensboro NC and he took incredible care of the car as did the previous owners.

First question in these cars...what in the h*** to do about this pirate ship sailing antenna? A supra buddy told me to cut the power chord to it but I would think there's a better way to take care of it lol. Any suggestions?

Search for a S2K antenna. It fits and looks better.

Do an antenna delete and then repaint lol. I deleted mine then I was able to make an xm radio antenna work. I was tired of the stock antenna

I removed the power cord on mine. Only cuz I have a touchscreen system so I dint use the radio anymore
