When was the first time you laid eyes on an SC?
Mine was back in 94 when I was in high school. I remember chilaxin on the curb waiting for my pops when a red one pulled up to pick up another kid. The front profile is what struck me the most...I thought it was some kind of european car lol it was love at first sight.

1995! My buddy had a blue 5spd brand new. we were in high school and balling like ***** at the time! My other best friend had a brand new Camry coupe in forrest green with tan interior and my other bud had a Red 1995 auto supra TT! Needless to say out crew had some of the best cars in the town! These guys paid for them by themselves with the exception of the Supra friend. His family was well off and he was a honors student and just all around good kid! Believe or not he actually wasn't a spoiled brat!

Awesome stories everyone and thank you for sharing! I know everything must have been covered in these forums from one time or another...but I don't think it hurts to start a new one now and then...it gives us a chance to discuss new and old things and most importantly get to know each other. Besides, this place would be lonely if everyone was reluctant to start a thread because they are worried about being told it has been covered...Again, thanks to those who shared and long live the SC's!

Mid '91 right before they went on sale. The SC400s came first but waited until the SC300s came out in mid '92 and bought one in July '92. Same car I have today but now with a lot of changes. It is my second go around actually since I only drove it for less than a year, my wife had it for 11, then my son for 7 before he gave it back in 2011.
It has been a lot of fun (and money) to revamp this platform and all of the contributors on this forum have been very inspiring. And there are a lot more things that can be done down the road, so to speak....

1995. I was a valet, so I sat in lots of new cars. When I slid into that SC coupe, it felt un-like any other. The cockpit just wrapped around me and it just felt "right". The body was so sexy. I told myself then and there that I would someday own one. I never make promises that I don't keep. Bought my 1993 SC 300 in 2006. Getting ready to drop in a 2jzgte this fall!

2000. When I first arrived in the USA at SFO airport, one pulls right up in front of me. Fell in love with it right away, fast forward 10 years later, became the first car I bought!

The first time I saw one ,was back in the mid 90's as a kid. My Grandmother purchased a 92 SC400. Back then I never really appreciated it until I had become older. Now I'm the proud owner of that very same SC.

My friend bought a mint condition Garnet Pearl 92 SC300 that came with these giant chrome wheels back in high school in 2006. Even though kids had brand new Corvettes, Benzes, and trucks his SC300 stood out the most. A few months later another friend wrecked his car and started driving his dad's old black 97+ SC400 to school. Then senior year my track coach had an SC400.
Before my friend's red SC I don't remember ever seeing them and they were extremely rare until a few years after I bought mine.
