Your best bet would be to turbo your GS assuming it's a GS300. If you would prefer to buy an SC you have the option of NA-T, 1JZ-GTE swap, or a 2JZ-GTE swap. It's going to take a good amount of power to beat an E55.

Check out the Performance section and the Build Threads sections to give you some ideas:

You're welcome! If you had a ton of money then I would supercharge or turbo the GS400 but it's expensive. You could still swap in 2JZ-GTE as well.

If you can afford to keep the GS do that and then buy an SC, maybe one that's already boosted. Swaps can get expensive and time consuming if you don't have everything you need.

I was looking into getting an E55 or S55 before I got my LS, they are seriously powerful machines, it would be very difficult to beat one.

You have a good chance of it breaking down mid race though, which will give u a sure win

you're gonna need 450rwhp to handle one effectively.
With that in mind, depending on your budget, a 2J swap would get you there fairly easily.
GTE swap with BPU will put you at around 400-430rwhp, depending on your tuning and boost. that would make it a good race.

my brother owns an e55 and those cars are seriously fast, only downside is the 10mpg. Im at 350whp in my sc and would assume another 50whp would beat his e55. I get about 18 mpg driving around vs his 10 mpg, but if gas doesnt matter to you I would look into an e55.
