Default exhuast piping size

looking to go single on my sc300
whats a good size i should go, its going to be from the catback down, looking for hp gain and quality sound (not to ricey) lol
alot of people are saying go 3" and some are saying 2.5"
im not going turbo staying na for now.
need help!!!!!

if you have future plans for a turbo, save yourself a hassle and go 3". for a turbo you need as much flow as possible

if you are going to stay na for the duration of the ownership of your car, go with 2.5" or 2"

sound depends on resonators, cats, and mufflers.
I think there is a thread here with sc members and their exhaust and their youtube videos
search for that
