Aha well see what the plan for this is, I was pointed to a GS and well, idk if you guys know this about me but I hate coupes haha, so I might move to the GS forums, it's a bummer because I honestly love this forum, you guys already know though I'm not going anywhere so I may have a couple parts up or sale,

As awesome as the SC forum is, the GS guys have done a lot more to the 1UZ than us SC guys have. There seems to be more aftermarket support for the GS specific 1UZ than the SC 1UZ for some reason. I find myself going over there from time to time inquiring about things not really touched on by the SC forum.

I'm on the same as u as far as being in college and only making a 11/hr as a pharmacy tech. I drive a 95 sc400 and I love it. The V8 rumble satisfies me for now. Once I get wheels and a lip kit ill be done til I finish school. Then out goes the v8....in comes the 2JZ.

400 for sure. Only 1 thousand more? That's a no brainer considering the power difference and also the fact you don't want to go turbo.

I still prefer a V8 though. High mileage not bad for either one as long as they were maintained. In fact, run the VIN's through Lexus.com and you can see their dealer maintenance history.
wow i had no idea lexus.com would do that i just went and inpout my cars info and its dealer maintained from day one til now lol.

shut up. and while some can afford to do a swap, NA-T, etc, of course the 300 is the way to go, but if you're like me and just want a nice smooth daily with some decent stock power, the 400 would be the way to go. Everyone has their own preferences.

I never planned to even buy an SC in the first place, haha it happened to come to me, lol. What you don't know about me is I am a sedan person, I like having four doors, from my scion xb, to the LS, and when i moved to an SC It annoyed the crap out of me.
also, 300's will be cheaper to maintain and repair parts wise.

lol all my life i drove 4doors

look at my garage! envoy, spectra, 93, accord, altima...i got the sc and i love it, people ask for rides and with 4 doors i cant say no, but now they can go **** themselves and get a cab

you need to enjoy not having any dependents for as long as you can!
