This DIY is great!!!! I started it at 3:15 am and was finished at 3:38 am, and i did it in the parking lot of my complex while it was raining...its that easy to complete. If you havent done this one, you really should asap. Its cleans things up nicely and I'm huge on a nice fresh interior. So thanks again for the help, pics, and info. This forum has once again proven to be invaluable

I just fixed mine. Super easy. The U-clip on mine was being held in by steel washers, but they came off with a flat head screw driver. I then cut the top rope where I wanted it, tied a new knot and put everything back together

Easy...I don't know about Super Easy. The seat backs don't come off or go back on as simply as described. Also, the steel 'catch' washer do come off with a flat screwdriver and the nutdriver method works very well to get those back on. Lastly, this is a great fix that I had not thought possible. I was resigned to the saggy nets but this fix can turn that around very quickly...good luck!

Here's an after pic of my repair. Any ideas on where to find more of the beige elastic cord at the top of the net?
