Default Random Info - Car weight

So I work part time at a place that has a scale so after all the big rigs were done for the day I pulled my car up, this weight is with a full tank of gas and a 145lbs rider. The grand total is 3,720 Lbs and my car is totally stock

I'm guessing you have spare tire, jack, and everything as well? Because that is pretty heavy... not sure how much a whole tank of gas weighs though.

A gallon of gas is about 6 lbs, so 120 lbs for a 20 gallon tank.

Yep spare tire, jack, and the first aid kit.

The scale auto adjust's for the rain on the scale, I think it would be minimal on the car, I'll do another dry run next time i'm there to find out

So with gas and a passenger you added 265lbs?

cliffs: run on empty and keep porkers out of the passenger seat.

he is 145 lbs himself, no passenger is what i read out of his tidbit. 120 lbs for a tank of gas is about right (6 lbs per gallon).
