I think you are on the right track, by installing your new grounds. If you put the new wires in a new spot, please ensure you scrape the paint away for a great connection. When I turn the blinkers on, my cluster lights still dim for a second. I come to believe this is normal for all older models SC's. I haven't worried about it too much. I don't pay much attention to it, I am busy texting and driving. Lol

Lol The dimming of the lights from the extra load has gotten better but still there, I'm happy with that then.
