Default Whats the best lip for the money?

Hey CL, I am looking to buy a lip for my Sc. I have a home depot lip on it at the moment and it actually holds up really well but I want to go with something other than Garden Trimming.
I thought about the Wise lip but if I scrap it wouldnt it break?
I would go for a 97+ but I cant find one. And an EZ lip wouldnt be any better than my home depot lip
Should I just go for gold and get a Fujin VIP lip?

Comment which you think is best for the price and if you have one of these comment how it fits and how durable it is.

I drift my SC and after breaking quite a few cheap aftermarket bumpers tandeming on the track, I didn't want to spend $100+ everytime i break my bumper. So I bought 97+ bumper and Fujin VIP lip. all poly urethane. It will rip, but it won't crack and break off like aftermarket bumpers. Price is little steep but I think it's worth it even for daily street driven SC.

97+ and fujin lip is the way to go. No need to worry about cracking or scraping. Polyurethane will flex. Wish my Auto couture kit was poly!

The only lip's commonly available for pre 97 are the OEM and the Wise. I got the wise but have not mounted it yet.

Well if you ask me a lip is basically for people who are content with the way their car looks, but they just want a little more than that. If you plan on getting a lip for a 97+ SC when your SC isn't a 97+ then I think you should just go all out for a full aftermarket 97+ kit, that's what I plan on doing

I love my SC4 lip. I ripped it on the side edges but i just tuck it right back in and carry on with my life.no cracks or splits, just flexes over speedbumps and driveways and water gutters on the street!

It all depends on what else you're planning on doing. Do you like 97 bumper better? If so get the fujin. You will need the rest of the kit to make it look right though. If you like your bumper, color match an oem lip. It doesn't hang too low so side skirts aren't a must. But if you decide to get97 sides, it flows perfect IMO. Lots of things to consider!

Cute little fact, my fujin lip fell off on the freeeway and must have been run over by 20 cars and was still in one piece
