is it possible for me to take the factory alarm from a 95 sc300 and transfer it to my 92 sc400?

i have a 95 where the factory alarm/ UNLOCK button on the key works and i want to put that into my 92 sc400.

I believe so if you remove the chip and transmitter from the other car. The keys will also might have to be programmed again. ????

The computers behind the panel on the passenger side in the rear. There is a small chip inside the computer that is linked to your key, remove that and swap in your new parts with the old chip and it should work. Have you check some of the common problems? I know there is a thread on this subject about common things to try.

Thanks for the information. My 92 never came with a key remote button. That's why I want to swap the 95 remote parts to the 92.
