If everything on that car is as excellent and maintained as it looks and if i had the cash, I'd pay some $4XXX.00 dollars for it.

Agreed, not that there is any problem with owning a sc with over 200k but it becomes a gamble with suspension/bushing/steering parts. I think 3-3.5 would be fair. $4k if maybe comes with some goodies... clean title, major accident free.. given it has those

Lol well.. looks like I have to settle for a 95 (do they even have 5spd 96??) Would you happen to know which year on the SC is obd2? 95 or 96? I do like the 97+ look, but I probably won't be doing much modifications to the car , just want a 5spd to drive around. Maybe I should try and find other cars other than sc300 lol. But If I get another car idk what to get because I would feel like i'm downgrading from my sc400.

If the car is local, you at least owe yourself a test drive. The overall car looks great in the pics and if EVERYTHING is in order and he has a little wiggle room it could be a nice find. Remember, good used SC300 engines can be found all day long in TX for around $500-600.

There's a 97 5spd for sale in the classifieds right now
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...aky-clean.html

And yes there is a 96 5spd Sc300. The 96 & 97 both run an OBD2 2jz-ge.

Yeah I saw that one but I prefer locally... 97 isn't necessary for me though lol. Okay I want obd2 so I would have to find at least a 96?

Yes. You'd need a 1996 or 1997 for factory original 5-speed OBD2 cars. There is also buying a good 1998 SC300 automatic and swapping in a 1998 Supra NA '98 5-speed ECU with an entire 5-speed swap but that's a good deal of work.

Alright I couldn't find a 96 sc.. but this 95 popped up. He's asking for 6k which i think is too high.. i'm thinking it's worth maybe 4 grand is a good price?

here are the details

162k miles, Jade (Green) exterior, tan interior. One owner. New tires, battery, alternator, starter, computer. Very good condition.....garaged, just "detailed".

Well, I paid $5k for my '93 5-speed as stock 189k in good shape other than a bad brake master cylinder and inside door panels needing replacement. Leather was new. Sure that's not cheap but the rest of the car checked out: clean paint and interior, one owner, no accidents and no previous modification. Assuming nothing is wrong with the 1995 model you found it's not an unreasonable ballpark. See if you can negotiate down a bit. It does look good from the pictures but you need to look at it and drive it in person.

Few of these cars are in near perfect condition unless they've had some extensive restoration. Cracked center vents are so common it could be considered a design feature.

I just paid 2500 for my manual black on black '95. One owner, an old man, so I'm sure it was babied. It does have 305k miles on it though.
