Default Who wants over fenders???

Hey guys,

I notice that finding rear overfenders is very hard nowadays, why don't we try to get some interest going and have try to have ride skins or ED start producing them for us.

I for one will buy a set forsure, anyone else interested?

I was in contact with them through e mails already , the shipping is a real killer, and I am always skeptical when dealing with companies ive never dealt with before, especially overseas ones.

Is this company very reputable?

overseas shipping can get expensive - rates are dimensional based, and not necessarily the weight of what you're shipping, but you won't find these stocked anywhere in the united states or canada anyway.

rhdjapan is reputable. i've been buying from them and through them for many years. you shouldn't have any worries when using a credit card or paypal, there's a lot of protection.

My Lexi is at the body shop now awaiting for my Vertex bumper to come to be painted and installed. Then I plan on getting the Missile K&M... because having wide front fenders and a non-wide rear is kinda..... weird... How much was the shipping? EDIT: I just looked it up. $328 via FedEx plus the $700 for the fenders doesn't sound too bad to me considering where it comes from. Fitment is my concern (after what I recently went thru lol)

^^ yea the total cost was something like $1000 or so, its a bit high but its not really too crazy , my main concern was just dealing with a foreign company over seas.

fitment I don't think is a concern with these as you have to do a lot of body work anyways.

but it would be nice to have a north American producer for these , they would be more readily available and im sure a little easier on the pocket book.

I'm not paying for ED parts. I was planning to get the missle rears, but second guessing it now if its becoming common. But never the less, the fitment with them is pretty well as they were make for the car and won't be made from a mode. As far as shipping from Japan like others have said, you have to pay to play.

I agree ED's products have been known to be pretty wacky in terms of fitment, but overfenders need a ton of body work anyways so if they are a bit off I don't think it will matter all that much.

That right there is why we do not need a producer of them. If a high end body shop is going to go that far in custom bodywork they will build their own as they go.

overfenders are so you can run more aggressive wheels, run bigger wheels, and avoid rubbing.

The missle fenders are bolt on. The over fenders made for the SC are like 50mm wider than stock, not really extremely widebody like a full vertex ridge kit. One would have to mix the missle rears with origin or vertex fronts. Idk how you go from saying they need tons of body work to not knowing what they are for? Lol
In any event the only parts that require extensive body work are all the ones purchased from ED, if they sold light bulbs they would require body work lol.
