THREAD UPDATE

I'm surprised to see this thread bumped and asking for more pictures 6 months later, thats a lot of love from this forum. Sorry been busy enjoying driving my car the way it is instead of constantly tinkering with it, and I graduated college too

Well I guess Ill give a little update on the car and the wheels.

6 months later the wheels are still holding up great and I daily drive this car 300-400 miles a week easily through construction, pot holes, uneven roads, randoms rocks from the dump, all sorts of random trips. I hit this really deep pothole the other day driving in the dark and I was sure it cracked the rim, that side of the car is a little shaky but holds air.

Can't say I'm a little impressed about the wheel, they've held up great so far. I've had hp, and other rep wheels crack on the first pothole and these held up great, no problems balancing, my tire guys have no issues stretching and keeping air in the tires

Now my set up has changed slighty, I am now stretching a 255/35/19 rather than 245/35/19 achilles atr sports (which is a great tire I dearly miss), and instead of a 25 mm spacer I have a 20 mm spacer.

I still rub alot all four corners driving hard.

Also no vertex kit on the car, was too much of a hassle to drive around back to stock 95 sides and rear, and 97 front

Click the image to open in full size.

enjoy guys

That's great to hear they are holding up good. Keep us updated on how they hold up.

I already have that picture ^^

Its all good though, tax times coming up, ill be getting the 9.5 +12F and 11 +15R, you think with a mild stretch and fender roll/pull this will rub much?

I'm thinking about buying a set of there from the sale in the Vendor Classifieds. 19x9.5F and 19x11R, with 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 tires (can change these siezes if need be).
However I'm not sure about which offset to go with, I dont want to run stretched tires or do any sort of fender work, just looking for a clean flush non-slammed look. Any suggestions guys? It'll be my first set of aftermarket rims and I'm not too clear about what offset/width/tires works with our cars to not have rubbing Thanks!

These are beautiful wheels, and I considered these too, but the offsets are just too aggressive. They definitely require fender mods and camber and stretch. I'm also not a big fan of slammed cars, because they are just a pain to drive around town. Both my SC's are lowered, and i hate the feeling of rubbing and scraping when i carry speed through train tracks and dips in the road, not to mention going through speed humps and the occasional unavoidable potholes.. My SC300 can't make it into my friend's muffler shop without having to make a ramp from 2x4's. And that car can still go way lower. But enough ranting.

Bottom line is, I was thisclose to buying these for my 300 in gunmetal in the exact same sizes as you mentioned, but the highest offsets are +30 for the 9.5's and +25 for the 11's. I'm running 8.5 and 10's +25 on my SC400, and that car isnt even slammed, and they barely clear with my rolled fenders. Thats why I decided to run the BBS LM reps in a much less agressive size (as stated in my sig) with 235/35/19 and 275/30/19's. The offsets are +25 with the 10mm spacer I'm running to clear my BBK. No stretch, they dont rub, and they sit perfect. The fenders in the 300 are rolled completely flat all around. If you get these in 18's instead of 19's. they come a bit less aggressive and will look perfect on your car non-slammed.

the fronts will be fine even in a +15 with a little fender rolling, that assuming the harness has been rerouted and the fender liner is not there

even with +25 rears a 275 will take quite a bit of fender work, nothing extreme or crazy and will still look pretty oem but the guy doing the fender rolling with a fender roller will have his work cut out for him.

Thats for the reply guys. Thats why I was confused with the offsets, I wasn't sure why they seemed so aggressive to me. But it seems as though they only make these in an aggressive stance.
I'm not crazy about the 18's since I think they look too small on our cars in this style (I guess the step-lip is too big and makes the spokes look smaller), so I'll probably end up going with ES1 or 2's.
