Default Anyone have a pic of SC stock wheels plastidipped w/ gloss??

My son is wanting to plastidip the stock wheels on my green 94 SC in black plastidip with plasitdips glossifier on top.

Before I go ordering the materials I would like to see what it would look like if anyone has done this with their stock rims espeically if you car is green if you could post a picture I would appreciate it.

Don't do it... most plastidip looks matte, even with the gloss. Plus it just looks cheap in my opinion. Unless your wheels are in rough shape, I'd leave them as is, or try a more factory color like silver

the gloss will make it look satin but gets dirty easily i suggest against it

I was thinking about plasti dipping my stock wheels and use them as winter wheels whenever I had to take my aftermarket wheels off. I've plasti dipped my emblems with glossifer and it looks more "glossy" but it doesn't have a wet gloss look cuz I didn't put enough glossifer on. If I ever end of doing it ill post pics.

I don't recommend doing it...BSanders is right. They look matte with gloss anyway...

Why not learn how to powdercoat together? Looks better, lasts longer, and really isn't that expensive with a little research. If not, there are always companies that do specials on wheels

Plastidip always lends a rough texture and never quite gets glossy. I'd recommend against it as well. It looks flat and tacky no matter how u do it IMO. Plastidip should only be used for little things.

Why not just try it and find out? It's relatively cheap to do. A can of plasi-dip is about $6

I don't know man personally I would plasti dip them, and use the new Pearlizer or one of the Metalizers they sell. Worst comes to worse you only spent about $40, and you can easily remove it. I planned to plasti dip my wheels this weekend, but I had to work, then my car stalled, and then I sat around on the computer for a few hours ha. Game of thrones is on in an hour also...my day is done.
