Question Can't decide on my new cluster color from LexTech

Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. I've always wanted to get my cluster completed by LexTech and finally decided to get this done. My RPM needle completely went black and half the bulbs went out. Since the SC is my daily, I had to source a temporary cluster for a few weeks while mine is away. It's all boxed up and ready to ship out today.

So, this is where I'd like some of your guys input. My car has a black and tan interior combo and I would consider it a classy car, not very racy or ricey. I have no stickers, no carbon fiber parts, no engine performance upgrades, just a clean OEM 5spd SC300 that's lowered with 18" wheels and a front lip. Since I'm such a snob about keeping things pretty clean and OEM, I was thinking about going with the basic white numbers and red needles again. But, maybe I'd be willing to get a little wild and go white numbers with blue needles. Then I sat inside my friends BMW and then another friends Audi recently, and I noticed they have red numbers and red needles which was pretty classy.

So....decisions, decisions

Classic red needles and white numbers

Blue needles, white numbers

Red on Red (*note - would probably change every bulb to LED inside of car to red including volume/temp ****, climate, radio, key ring, etc....might be a lot more work than I want)

I guess this is a decent picture of my car currently and interior color combo.

Well, you could do what I did and choose your color based on your mood and not be stuck with a single color. Can't help you with the needles though.

Since the red on red image isn't very clear, here is a red on red combo from a BMW

Match it up with your audio system and aftermarket gauges if you have any. For me I like everything to be color coordinated so keep an even flow of things. I say go with classic white with red needles if everything is stock.

I'm going to have my radio and climate done by them as well at a different date and time. Sure I can just put LED bulbs in everything, but the LCD screen on the climate and radio would still be OEM pale yucky yellow. But yes, matching colors is ideal. If I went with white numbers on any of the combos, I'd get LED white lights in the climate, radio, volume/temp ****, key ring, etc. Plus I have to find a temporary solution for my radio and climate. Again, this is my daily and has to run 6 days a week in perfect working order.

I've seen it in person and it looks great. The problem is two (x2) SC owners from my area already have this combo. I'd like to be slightly different

Are those BMW gauges from an e39?

Also, go white with blue. I'm going this route, in the next month or two with white climate control. There's nothing better than cool white throughout the car.

Sick car bro, love the new wheels! I would hit up lextech tech first, and see what applications are available for our SCs years 95. I remember when I had my 92, I had several options I could go with. I dont think it's not the same for the 95 year? Don't quote me on that, either way keep us informed with your decision.

according to their store:
the blue needles for the 92-93 SC ONLY
the red needles are for any SC under 1997
the white needles are 92-93 SC ONLY

=/ =/

I do like the climate control in pure white though

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I'm going to contact them about the needle colors. My cluster is a 95-96 5spd.

Personally I like classic. White on red looks great to me. But it's your choice! I think the classic colors are more Lexus like and classy but the other options are more "race" themed. Depends what your goal of your car is. I'm going to go with White with Red needles when I do mine eventually. I'll also do my climate in white when I get the chance.
