First Lexus and its a SC400 powered by 1jz-gte single tubo
Hey guys. Just picked up a 1992 SC400 with a 1jz-gte single turbo..and dangg i like it. My previous car was 2000 Turbo Miata and that was fun to drive but didn't have the power this beast has! Its a auto but I'm getting use to it. Its not to bad actually. Any tips u recommend me to do?
Build list is-
1jz-gte and 1jz tranny built with big tq converter
Turbonetics Ceramic Bearing 60-1 turbocharger
Turbonetics 38mm wastegate
Turbonetics raptor BOV
Tubular turbo manifold
Godspeed Front Mount intercooler
Brian Crower 264 cams
Wiseco Pistons and rings
AEM uego wideband
AEm TRU boost gauge
Greedy boost cut controller
Greddy speed cut controller
Walbro 255 fuel pump
B&M Tranny cooler
Vibrant 3inch turbo back exhaust
440cc injectors
I am very new to this type of build and car and i may be newb sounding sometimes. So might be needing some help down the road, Thanks in advance lol. And now a few pics..car is a lil dirty tho...

Not a bad start at all. Car actually looks similar to mine and the setup. What management system are you using? Power? Torque? AC and power steering work? Who did the swap? Does it overheat without the oem fan or dual electric setup?

The title says its a sc400 and so did previous owner. Just has a sc300 badge on back. But thanks man.
Im not 100% sure at the moment..lol. Previous owner dynoed it and said it made 481hp and 462tq on 19 psi...im not sure if that tru yet. i plan on getting it dynoed soon. No ac but Power streering works great. It has Duel electric setup. No overheating problems yet.

^beat me to it. Pretty good pick up. Looks like everything is very nice. Just swap in a 5 or 6 speed and it would be perfect. Didnt read it had a built trans so whichever you prefer. I really like the color and interior if its gray. You like this better than the miata? One of my friends has a boosted one and its pretty fast and fun. I have a soft spot for miatas.

Thanks Guys!! I personally needed something bigger then my miata. The miata was amazing tho. Turbocharged go-kart lol, But ya im located in Sanford FL. Rx8 wheels. Those gonna be gone soon tho. And i need coilovers and new front lip and painted bumber. Anyone near Sanford FL?
