i have it sprayed on my emblems and roof wing. only issue was front emblem had some rock chips that eventually flaked off a piece of the dip. best part is it can be pulled off and redone at my discretion, i just havent cared lol

It will totally hold up under the weather, but if not you just respray it and you're dipped again. For the cost of a full exterior detail of a car it's like $150, and what I would spend on dipping would be about the same. It was my first time doing anything like this. I will work on the wheels at some point, it's a work in progress.

I'm thinking of doing the same to my car! Nice job! Can you point out specific steps/kit you used? I'm thinking of getting the glossifier too...

My SC is just going to be my track car...

Why didn't you vinyl it? Vinyl lasts longer. I know paint is expensive, but if its for something important then its worth saving up for.

I used the pro-kit which cost 415 shipped to my door, it came with four gallons of paint which It only took two gallons to do, sprayer, wash for the car, and a couple other things. There really isn't any real steps to do other then make sure your car is clean prior to spraying, and to put five to six coats of plasti on the entire car. It took about three hours to do.

Props, I think it looks good. I did my wheels a year ago and the only time I have to respray them is when i get new tires.

Its super easy to clean and almost never looks dirty IMO. I dont even wash my car in winter really, and I daily drive it.

Your a few weeks ahead of me - I'm doing black intially - started it but my car is 5 different colors, I will get professional paint later down the road, but getting it on the road and one color is job number one for me

Look athe build thread and you'll understand why I need the dip

And I like my rims to pull it off as well

Your opinion is worth about the same as mine. That's what an opinion is.
