Could one say 1500$ will get you out of almost any repair jam on an Sc?

Could one safely say 1500$ will get you out of any repair jam on a stock Sc, short of an accident or fire?

technically it should , but that all depends on how crooked your mechanic is , and how gullable you are, im sure people here have been suckered out of way more then that.

As long as you do your own maintenance that sounds like a safe number.

A reliable shop would change a dead motor out for about that much or even less. At least the shop I take my SC to when I don't feel like doing the works.

Yea, **** shops, back when i had my '02 Mustang GT, the 3rd gear started grinding/popping out and every shop wanted almost $4k to replace the trans....I ended up buying a used trans for $800 and did the swap on jack stands in my drive way in under 4 hours.

It should get you out of most situations assuming you don't go to a Lexus dealership.

Most single incidences yes...We all know things seem to cascade with these cars. The 1500 could go quick in this cases.

Haha! Kind of what I was thinking, but you'll more than likely just end up with the same problems again.

Rear QP work can get expensive if they do it right and not just throw a bunch of bondo on there, other than that $1500 should cover almost everything.

Thank You,
The question was EXCEPT accidents or fire though.

Depending on how much cash you have, it's kind of a comforting thought for a foreign car.
It could be SO MUCH WORSE!
