glovebox fittment

Default glovebox fittment

so winter is almost done and im putting my car back together and I run into a problem my glove box door will not go back on ?where it bolts up it just dose not seem to want to go back on,the screws are long enough it seems now I don't no if any one else had this problem me and a friend went and check it out and we both we not able to get the damn thing back on. Any ideas as to why this is or should I find longer screws now

I'm not sure if this makes any difference, but is the glove box key insert for the door in the locked position?

you're door wont lock in place, or you're unable to reinstall it to the glove box compartment? Have you dissamssemble it in pieces?
