I think that car looked better when it had the metal flares, just my opinion.

I can appreciate him redoing the car too, it's nice to change the look from time to time.

Yeah, you'll need crazy low offsets to fit with the flares, like 19x9 -15 and 19x11 -10, and fat tires tend to work better with flares imo. And where to find them: look up 240z flares. Just buy the flares they all get. They're not too expensive either.

^ Maybe if you use the whole lid for the rear flare...

I find it funny that so many people in the thread said the rear flare blends perfectly but the front one stands out too much. I would say exactly the opposite. The front flare matches the body's lines nicely, whereas the rear flare looks like a goiter. Look at cars with factory flared fenders. The rear flare blends into the upper line of the quarter panel.

Not everyone's cup of tea I realise, but if you're in this thread you're interested in bolt-on flares anyway.

This is generating massive interest on Facebook. A carbon shop in Taiwan is currently working on a Rocket Bunny style kit for the Soarer/SC.

Cannot wait to see the finished product.

^ I like that rear flare more. It gets up an inch or two higher to blend into the body shape better. It could still use a bit more finessing in that respect, but it's getting closer to looking natural.
