Headlight Switch Question 94 SC400
I've got a 94 SC400 and just recently the lights started acting up. First the dash lights over the heater control stopped working. Then as I was driving down the road the dash/instrument cluster lights went out. The headlight switch was in the AUTO mode. I found if you I turned the switch adjuster on the end of the turn signal handle there was a sweet spot where everything would come on. Then while driving down the road at night on another occasion someone brought it to my attention that my taillights weren't on. Again I turned the headlight switch and I found if I could get the tail lights to come on but the dash lights would go out and visa verse. When you think about it everything works and there are no blown fuses. The just don't work at the same time like it is supposed to. I'm going to replace the headlight switch. HAS ANYONE OUT THERE IN SC400 LAND EVER REPLACED A HEADLIGHT SWITCH ON A 94 SC400? If so, how involved or detailed is it. Any other hints or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
