Default Correct cabin filter for 1992 SC 400?

I know there are a few threads on this topic but from what I've seen none of them are for the 92 SC 400, the ones I've seen are for the SC 300 and 97 SC 400.... So Amazon says both of these fit my car...I've read people having to modify them...I just want a perfect fit purchase.

well it got redesigned in mid 92 so there isn't really a direct drop in to my knowledge unless the later one drops right in.

I'm more embarrassed to admit that the car having a cabin air filter at all is news to me!

I still have the 1992 SC400 that I purchased new in December 1991, and it does not have a cabin air filter.

The 92 SC400 was introduced and made available in the U.S. in June or July 1991 as a 1992 model. The dealers took orders (with a refundable deposit) at list price and you had to wait on the waiting list. You could not custom order exactly what you wanted, as the factory was just shipping their availability to dealers. You could, however, specify what you wanted exactly, and they put you on the priority list for that specific car. You then just had to wait until your name came up and then you could wait further until that specifc model was randomly delivered. That meant that I had to wait nearly 5 months to get the car I wanted.

I still have the car, and trust me, it does not have a cabin air filter.

I have cabin filters in both my SCs, 95 and 97, and I know because I replaced them in both cars lol. They have them at pretty much any auto parts store. Its actually 2 small filters that side side by side up behind the little door. Took about 5 min to replace.
