I was just pondering that yesterday after a bumpy trip through Brooklyn.
I LOVE the lowered look, however I cannot think of a time when I will say "ya' know, I want LESS travel and a STIFFER suspension in NYC" logically. I dream of it, but find it hard to imagine saving up a grand to have a stiffer, jarring ride and be MORE paranoid about these bumps and holes.
That Said, I still look at deals on coil overs.
If I do not hate the stock look, I will likely stay with a stock suspension at least 6 months to a year.
I am going to price fender rolling this week. I will have it done the first day of spring when I mount these puppies.

EDIT! Disregard much of that above. As you may have guessed I am SURELY gonna drop this fuc%&** some. Yes, even in NYC. CL changes your brain.... ;-)

HA,
You might be right. I took notice to where it was sitting today and the rear would not accommodate even a finger in the gap. My "sag" looks just like a "drop" (and is free ).
Problem is, looks like a 1.5 inch drop (I'm considering Tanabe NF210's) may actually raise the cars stance. The only reason I'm not rubbing in the rear seems to be the fact that it is sunken in sufficiently.
I am expecting RUBBBBB when i swap the 430 wheels out for the Works with 285's when the weather breaks.

Nice score on the VS-ZF, they don't come around often. I just sold a set in 17 x 8 +35 (235/45/17) & 17 x 9 +35 (255/45/17) the fronts could of done with a 10mm spacer. Nice wheels regardless!

I have +45 in the rear I think, no sticker on the front. What size spacer would you guess would work (assuming the front is +45 as well)?

Is that your Soarer? If so, what suspension are you running? It sits NICELY and I can't wait to mount those wheels. They look GREAT! I still have not seen them on my car.

Thank You.

You could fit some 10 mm bolt on spacers with extended wheel studs all round if you weren't happy with how it sits at +45, taking into consideration the current tyres sizes you would more than definitely have to roll the guards etc. OR, you could have the offsets/widths changed if you really wanted to go down that path.

That is my Soarer, it's currently running some OEM JZA80 Bilsteins with lowered springs. Fairly happy with how it sits & handles
The ZF's are a damn nice wheel & yours look to be in WAY better condition than mine were, hope the pic gives you an idea! Look forward to seeing them fitted on yours.

That pic gives me the ONLY idea I have had of how they will look, Thank You! (I may re-lip them.)
I get a Deja Vu from the pic. I may have seen it here or on the net when i was MEGA searching for info on them.

Thumbs up They fit perfectly!

THEY FIT PERFECTLY!
No rubbing so far AT ALL!

I can't believe how much better/softer the ride is then the 430 wheels with the run-flat Blizzaks. They were hard as a rock! These grip SO MUCH BETTER! I am in heaven!

97+ Tails, bumper and sides next!

Thank You!

I've resisted, but I am sure I will...... It just looks to damn good!

PS: I have driven the roads up your way if you are near Calgary or Banff.
I don't remember the roads being horrible, but then again, I was in a rental Escalade. I would not have felt a thing.

Love the look man. Just curious is your car platinum silver or a light blueish color. If it is the light bluish can you tell me the name of that color

Thank You!
The color is called "platinum metallic". Mine seems a bit 'bluer" then some others I see but I think they are just faded. My paint is pretty fresh.

Thumbs up Hideous side panels are gone ! It's a great day !

THE "SHARKY" FAST AND FURIOUS SIDES ARE GONE.
I am going to find someone with questionable tastes on craigslist (easy) and sell them to them.

One step closer to tastefully done!

Next:
1) 95 Taillights this week
2) Buy a front lip next week
3) 97+ sides (maybe)
4) install 95 bumper and lip.
5) Paint the new parts
6) Re-Lip the Works
7) Drop That ***%$#@ with some coilovers.
