Hi all,

So, I believe, due to the cold weather, there's a huge crack right down the middle of my driver side side-view mirror. I'm wondering if there's a way to only replace the mirror vs the entire side view mirror body part..if you know what I mean..

Also, any idea where I can go to get these parts? I tried autoparts warehouse but they don't have any parts available for my car. I haven't called any local junkyards yet.

I'll be calling the dealer soon but I'm sure they will charge me an arm and leg. I'll def need help with the install either way.

Call the junkyard. I'd replace the whole unit since the glass just sticks on with two sided tape, but on an ex's 2011 lucerne I ended up just replacing the glass which the junkyard sourced for me

Wow, just 2 sided-tape. I found this:

This might do it, as well? If I taped over new glass to the existing broken glass, I guess the heating function on this glass would no longer work..

I'd have to "affix" the new glass on the old cracked glass, as the crack is basically behind the surface of the glass. I can't feel the crack with my fingernail. Another option would be to break the broken glass in it's entirety and then affix this new glass..

The glass pops out from the bottom use a screwdriver right under the word ** than } that is printed on the glass.

FSM shows running a cloth behind the glass, pulling forward on the bottom edge to release from two clips, pivot glass upwards to release upper clips that have more of a hook shape to them. Good luck!!
