I agree that tooling the molds and R&D are expensive. I could see that an overused mold would cause problem areas where the mold meets, but it would not yield batches that are 2" off. Sounds like their contract manufacturer used the wrong mold and sent it out to them or the material they used just deformed as it sat on the shelf or something.

No they will die to molds being In a hot warehouse and just the way it is resting and when the resin hit it the heat I me a so much can cause distortion. I know it sounds minor. But I just went through school for this kinda stuff and we went in depth about moulded frp ans other types like it. The moulds have to be changes often for them.

^^^ thank you for that clarification. I work at an engineering house, and if I were ever to receive a part that was 2" off, I'd be pissed off. I'd honestly like to visit one of the fabrication facilities we use for prototypes. In any event, hope the OP gets this resolved.

Yeah it sucks that they just don't make a new mold there sales would quadruple with better fitment I mean honestly if someone made a fare priced one that had great fitment they would have overbite success

I deal a lot with Origin as well. Fitment is just ok, even though they are expensive :/ Maybe its because its too thick. Version select actually fits better!
