It's from factory. I've also noticed this. I have thought about shaving it and welding it back together haha

I just hit mine with a mallet to try and flatten it out.

Recently while driving I tore the passenger side fender liner off. I had to rip it out from being wedged between the fender and tire while being held in by one screw on the side of the road. Not fun.

Are you running yours still? Can't tell if you just removed it to take the pics.

How'd hitting it with a mallet work out? Did it help? And I removed mine a while ago, just decided to not be lazy and roll my front fenders today and decided to take a picture of it.

Well it was never really an issue for me tire wise but it was starting to show through the liner so I decided to just try and flatten it out.

I hit the top of the fenders with even the slighted dip/bump from being so low even with my Stance coils on max stiff. My wheels are pretty sunken in up front so I didn't need to roll the fenders up front. Just relocated the harness, airbag and hood latch cable.

This is why you do a research first before lowering or doing anything to your car. There's plenty of info around that'll tell you to reroute your wiring harness and bang that thing flat with a hammer.

Back when I had my Falken lowering springs on my front tires were getting cut up every time I'd drive. I had a shop hit the pieces of metal with a hammer to flatten them out.

nope...maybe it's the bags that allow me to not rub and bottom out. Lol...

hammer it down or cut it out and reinforce with a piece of sheet metal. like adding gussets almost
