Default Some problems I have with my SC

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced these problems in there Sc's. If anyone knows how to fix these problems please comment to help me and anyone else experiencing the same issues. My car is a 92 Sc400 with 112k miles

-Sometimes if I lock my door from the inside it wont unlock again, it makes the noise and moves the switch but wont unlock it, the lock and keys work just fine its just unlocking from the inside

-The main problem deals with my idle, one day I was out driving and my car was running normal however when stopped at a stop sign, my car died. In order for it to run I had to keep one foot on the brake and one on the gas to keep it idling, this eventually went away and went to idling normally, However this still happens every now and then.My car idles high as it is (about 1,000-1,400 RPM) but sometimes it will start to drop and it will end up with no idle at all for a little while.

-Another idle problem happens more frequently is when I park, sometimes my idle will go up and down from about 1,100-1600 RPMS until I turn the car off.

-Sometimes the gas cover wont open with the switch

-Have a great day

For the lock, it could be one of the mechanisms inside the door that may be loose or not connected at all.

As for your idle when you brake, it could be the brake booster, just a guess. The vacuum could be leaking from it.

My idle usually runs between 1100 and 1400 as well but no problems.

I have a similar problem that when I hit the brakes hard or suddenly stop, my idle becomes low and sometimes the car dies. No vac leaks though.

Any updates on this? I'm also having idling issues such as stalling during idling and stopping. I suspect a leak that I should be trying to fix tomorrow morning.

I use to have a similar problem when I would start my car and it would get a little warm it wouldnt hold its idle. It was running rich and turn out to be a bad ecu.

For the door thing, I have the same issue. I just keep rocking the switch from unlock to lock like a maniac until I here a loud click and then it unlocks.
The idle issues can be bad fuel pump ecu, which you can bypass, dirty iacv, bad maf, or bad ecu.
My bet would be bad fuel pump ecu and dirty iacv.

I cleaned the ICV and it seemed to help, It hardly ever loses its idle anymore (its been at least a month). However when I put it into park the Idle goes up and down from about 1100-1600 RPM until I turn the car off or put it into gear. I haven't done anything for the door switch yet. I plan on seafoaming it whenever im about ready for an oil change in hopes that might fix the idle fluxuation problem. Thanks for all the comment by the way guys

My idle problem is when the car is cold it starts and idles fine. About 7-8k rpms. After the car reaches running temp the idle drops to 4-5k rpms. If I shut the car down and try to crank it it will not idle at all and dies. I have to wait 15-20 minutes before it will crank and idle again.

You mean 700-800 and 400-500 RPM's? 8k is a little to high IMO...

I would, while the car is idling, attempt to adjust the TPS. Loosen both screws, and twist the TPS sightly this way and that and see if the idle changes. Do at your own risk, if it isn't the TPS, it is (what I have found out) difficult to set back to spec with an ohmmeter.
