Default So, I'm the new guy on the block. So help me out a bit?

Hey guys, the name is Dillon and I'm new here. I have always been a huge fan of the Lexus SC's and I tried for the longest to get one, but nearly every time I inquired on getting one it either ran like ****, or the interior was horrific. I eventually gave up and bought a Subaru WRX. I became very active in the Subaru community and forums until now. I traded my WRX yesterday for a 1992 one owner, five speed Lexus SC300. I finally have my dream car. The car has 107,xxx original miles and a leather interior with only one small rip in the front passenger seat. It has a fresh yellow House of Colors paint job with an orange pearl, and also brand new rims and tires with less than 3k miles on them. With a nine and a half in tires on the back. This car is totally unmolested and is bone stock, except for a true dual straight pipe exhaust that goes to 2 Injen mufflers that sound absolutely amazing.

Anyway the only problem is on my climate control LCD screen, half of the screen is black. Any ideas on how this could be fixed. I'll post pictures of what I'm talking about, I'll also post more pictures of the car when it gets daylight outside.

I hope to become a part of this Lexus family and I hope to enjoy being apart of this family as much as I did the Subaru family.

The screen is toast. Replace the LCD yourself or send it somewhere to get fixed. (like lextech) If the controls and fan doesn't work, it's the cigerette lighter fuse that busted. GL with your new SC and welcome to CL!

Good lookin SC man! love the color. but yeah the climate lcd is a common problem with all SC models along with many other interior pieces unfortunately...

But like many others said just check out Lextech for some sweet looking dashes and lcd fixes.
