Default Replacing rear hub/bearing

Got new tires today, and confirmed that my steering rack probably needs replacing, as I leak P/s fluid and the bushings looked pretty good. Looks like its the high pressure hose though? The boots looked good to me...
This also confirmed for me that I had a bad bearing in the back. In his words `its got an inch and a half of play`
I bought replacement bearings (Timkin I believe) but noone seemed to sell a hub? Is it probably safe to use the same hub and just swap the bearings?
Thanks!

I am about to tackle this project in the next week or so. I wouldnt see any problem in just replacing just the bearing. I cant find a diy thread in here about it at all.

Thats a hint!!!!

Oh man, I remember when I did mine... The passenger side was fine reusing the old hub, but when it came to the driver side, it instantly killed the new bearings because the hub turned out to be bad as well, which basically made the job harder 'cause I did it twice on that side. Now I have an extra wheel bearing and a hub from a 300 which has a smaller dust shield compared to the SC400's.

I'd suggest buying a new hub too, just to make sure the old one is bad. Only thing that's gonna make things complicated is, only way to find out if hub is also bad is after installing it in with the new bearing to see if there's still "play".
