For short-run production with limited market (be realistic, I'd be making a ton of parts for these cars if it were a large market) I think $275 is pretty reasonable. Yes, I'd step up to an even higher price if the product was top-notch and hi-beams were available!
There are a few UV-stable lexan products, just keep them clean and waxing them will keep them pretty for a long time.
Those lense protectors do keep the actual lense pretty but damn, are they hard to take off when they get older and nasty! I had them on my 2006 Audi (known for yellowing lenses) and those "protector" things were horrible to remove after 3 years!
Lexan would probably be stronger than glass but take more maintenance.
one really good product is that clear protectant sheet you can put on your leses, and peel them off when they get pitted, that way the actual lens doesn't get as much abuse. I think Lexan lenses and a pair of those covers (think cell phone screen protector) would be best of both worlds.

$275...I MIGHT be able to justify...350-400...Nah, I'll spend $100 more and get brand new OEM Lexus lights, especially if I'd have to bake mine again just to install them...

Just a quick update: Spoke with a couple manufacturers yesterday about the SC lens project, I'll probably be meeting with them either this week or next week to go over details and check out their quality standards. Since this is a new project for Rideskinz, we'll have to do a bit of R&D to see how things fit, attach etc. on the headlight lenses before we can move forward with production. I agree with Ali SC3, Lexan along with a clear plastic bra material would be a better product in the long run vs. a glass lens that would possibly crack down the road. You guys have brought up many good questions and concerns about the headlight lenses and we'll do our best to get a quality product out to you. Special thanks go out to UZZ-TT for getting the ball rolling and starting up this thread.

This! I'd care more about the highs than the fogs, personally, but all matching would be a nice touch! Good luck guys, can't wait to see some products and get some pricing figured out!

Some of y'all are saying your pay Around 300 just for the lens ? That's mad talk you can buy a whole aftermarket set of lights for less... Personally I wouldn't pay for than $70 for a set of lenses
